Special Notes– Brihat Trayi have described it in their works. Thakurji consider that it may be yellow variety of Jati i.e.; J. humila Linn.
Botanical Description – It is perennial climbing shrub with white flowers. It is also cultivated at various parts of India.
Major Chemical Constituents– Lupeol, jasminol, D-mannitol, Cis-jasmone, dihydrojasmone jasmone etc.
Therapeutic Usage–
SarkarŒ & Aümar¶- The root of Yµuthikµa collected ighan summer is boiled with milk and given orally (G.N.).

Dosage– Decoction 50-100 ml.
Research– The juice of the leaves in the form of jelly, on local application to a linear-uniform excised wound in rats was found to promote wound healing, as assessed by histological, biochemical and contraction rate studies (Deshpande et al., 1965).
