Botanical Description (J. heterophyllum) – A lax or scrambling shrub with glossy evergreen leaves and branching heads of rich yellow scented flowers, native of SW China in Yunnan, growing on sunny slopes in scrub at around 2000m, flowering in April–May. Shrub to 3m; stems purplish; leaves usually simple, sometimes trifoliate. Flowers around 2cm across.
